When looking over the UNICEF website this was very eye catching for me. It was an article on clean water in Honduras. This kind of hit close to home be one of my student parnet is from Honduras. I remember she would come in and tell us how it was over them. She would always so it was bad meaning poor. She said that the states are better. I never really thought about how bad it was until I read on the article. UNICEF staff visit a small community in western Honduras to see how the lives of residents have changed since the installation of improved water and sanitation infrastructure (Marcos González, 2012). With support from UNICEF, the National Autonomous Service of Aqueducts and Sewers (SANAA) recently installed improved water and sanitation infrastructure in the area. Twelve months ago, this programme brought tap water to each of the 40 homes in this community, changing residents’ lives completely (Marrcos Gonzales, 2012). Before the water was install people would catch rashes but now that they installed a new water system it does happen anymore.
The lack of drinking water not only affected children's health in Cerritos II, it also seriously hindered their access to education (Marrcos Gonzales, 2012). Children had to fill water jugs instead of going to school. One teacher said that attendance has improve since the water system has been put in place.
This article really sadden me. I can not image living without the water and that is one of the simple thing some of us take for granted. This article was very touching.

Getting to Know Your International Contacts
I have yet to hear anything from my contacts. I have recently changed one of them to the UNICEF. Hopefully they will email me back as soon as possible. If they any suggestion who I might can contact and get a quick please let me know. Thanks.
From my understanding of poverty has been going on years and year. Poverty to means living without the necessaries that are needed to survive on a daily basic. Hopefully by the next blog my contacts would have contacted me so I will be about to share some information with you all as well. Sorry colleagues. Seem as if I am not doing my job. But they haven't response by. Sorry again.

Sharing Web Resources
Unfortunately, the two organization I emailed has not emailed me back that was Haiti and the Netherlands. However, I am subscribed to kinderplans newsletter. This site you have to be a member and you can receive free lesson pages for everything such as themes for seasons, holidays, and etc., whatever you can think of. They send out lesson plan ideas weekly and monthly just depending on the occasion. The lady who runs the website is Elaine Engerdahl. She always has a blog that goes along with the site. Here is the link https://kinderplans.com, https://kinderplans.com/blog/. Another website I am subscribed to is the baby center. I subscribed to this one when I was pregnant with my first child. This website tracks your pregnancy and different milestones as you progresses in your pregnancy and after the baby is born. Then it starts to track the baby milestones, keeping you update about the developments with the baby. Here is the link www.babycenter.com. Another I am also subscribed to is education world. This site provides with ton of information for professional developments to lesson plan. It sends out weekly newsletters with different ideas, lesson plans, current event, continuing here education, and etc. This weekly newsletter is published by Education World®the largest *free* resource on the Web for teachers and school administrators. Did you know that Education World posts new content five days a week? Bookmark EducationWorld.com and make sure you don't miss a new article or resource! Here is the link http://www.educationworld.com/.
Looking back on recent newsletter Education World out. A current issue caught my eye dealing with technology. In the newsletter they where offering to earn a degree in Education Media Design and Technology, interactive game that teaches math concepts, a virtual orchestra to liven up a music class, or an animated grammar lesson, the possibilities of using technology as a learning tool continue to expand (Education World, 2012). Learn how you can reach your students through media technology (Education World, 2012). This was eye catching because I think that every school system, preschool, or whoever providing care for school age children that uses technology needs to be up to date on technology in the classroom to enhance that child learning.

"My Support"
Family
Without my family I would not be able to do the things I
do. They are a great support
system. Being a single mom with three
kids (a 3 yr old and a set of twins 10 months).
They help provide for my family and still give me opportunity to have a
break when needed. It’s a blessing to
have such great people on my team.
Kids
My kids are my motivation to continue my education to provide
for their every need. They keep me going
but at the same time I enjoy every bit of time we share. I would change it for the whole.
Friends
My friends are the ones who keep me going, keep my
stressful, and remind me to enjoy life and smile.
Jobs
Bless to have a job so I can provide for my family. By working I am able to give my kids the
things they need and want.
Electronics
Gives me the opportunities to communicate to other and keep
in touch. Provides the opportunity to
continue my education without having to enter into a classroom setting. My
iPhone keeps me on track with appointments, bank account information, or other
important dates and things.

"My Connections to Play."
“For in every adult there dwells the child that was, and in every child there lies the adult that will be.” ― John Connolly
“That's what makes it so right. Your eyes-- your soul is there, but the rest of you is still so undefined. That's the beauty of childhood. The eyes show everything you've seen so far, but the rest of you is still so open to possibility, to whatever you might become.” ― Bree Despain
“Anybody who has survived his childhood has enough information about life to last him the rest of his days.” ― Flannery O'Connor
Essential Play Items

People Supported Play
My mother and father supported play when I was younger by providing the things I wanted to play with as a child. Also they supported play by making me stay outside instead of coming in the house to play. They supported play by telling me to use my imagination when I was bored and didn't have anyone to play with.
My neighborhood supported play when I was younger by playing along with me. We all shared ideas and used our imagination to pretend to go on different advendures.
My teachers in elementary supported play when I was younger by providing me with recess to interact with my classmates.
Play Today is Similar or Different From the Play
I think todays play is different from when I was growing up. I am a 80's baby right when the first Nintendo was made. So as a child I had to use my imagination to play. I had toys but still had to use my imagination and be creative. However, todays play is different. There is a lot of technology now days. Children are not playing, using their imagination, or being creativer these days and I think its the parents fault for providing these things. I wish more parents would promote free play without technology and make their kids use they imagination creatative.
Role of Play Throughout My Life and/or the Role of Play Throughout Childhood and Adulthood
As stated in my quotes above it basically sums up how my role of play. Play is something that should contuine throughtout life. Playing keeps the mind young and the body young as well.

Relationship Reflection
Relationships/partnerships are important to me it helps communicate among each other. I found that having a good relationahip with my family helps me with anything that I might be going thru. I personally have a great relationship with my mother. We communicate everyday. She also watches my three kids while I work. The relationship we have is important because she let me know when my kids have done something new, especially the twins.
People I have positive relationships and partnerships are my family, local schools, coworkers, and different business we use for field trips.
Each relationship is positive we provide feedback among each other. Keeping each update on thing and doing business with each other. Maintaining this relationship is important because it keeps business going and it provide education for the kids we are servicing.
